The quality of amateur baseball is getting better every year. As the level of play gets better so should the level of umpiring. This camp will not only help you know how to wear a uniform but will put some substance and authority behind the calls you make and the presence you present.

Have you ever wondered why no one argues with your partner? This camp will help you to improve yourself so that your calls will be made with proper timing, proper authority, proper mechanics, and best of all, proper judgment.

Do you find yourself wondering during a game about positioning? You will have ample opportunity to ask questions of some of the best NCAA umpires and learn in both classroom and field instruction about 2 and 3 man mechanics.

Do you want to know how to get to the next level? What is that level for you? To some it may be varsity high school, junior college, or NCAA Division 1. Whatever the level is that you are trying to reach, there will be instructors and supervisors evaluating your skill and giving you advise to enhance your umpiring career.

What should my goal be after attending this camp? That is up to you but this camp will help to open your eyes to things that will help you to become a better umpire and help you to find more enjoyment. You should have fun and the more confident you become with your skill level the more you increase your chance of success. This is an investment in your career and this camp can point you in the right direction.
